So in the summer of 2014 there were many things that I was unsure of, however one thing I thought I knew for certain (even if it didn’t enter my conscious thought) is that the world was not looking for an 18 track concept album about a broken time machine inhabited by famous historical characters.
Fortunately for the world it did not get this unspoken wish as one man, Rupert Latimer set out to make this very album. He kindly asked me to drum on it and over 3 days that summer we set about tracking the drums at my studio.
I had great fun recording the album and many of the tracks took me outside of my comfort zone and got me to explore new ideas. Here is the lead single “Rita Hayworth” from the album “10 Second Time Machine” which is released next week.
